UNDER THE PARISIAN SKY
“Under the Parisian Sky / Sous le ciel de Paris” – A Homage to Paris as an Inspiration for Artistic Expression
Part of the unique multimedia project “Cvit samoće”, a book with music by author Freeda Nera Immortelle (FNI), this event pays tribute to Paris as a source of artistic inspiration.
This two-hour musical-literary evening (dramatic recital and literary gathering) reflects the author’s decade-long artistic exploration of solitude—a journey that ultimately led her to Paris. Through theater, music, and literature, the program delves into themes of authenticity, introspection, and personal growth. The audience will experience a musical-poetic collage of FNI’s original songs alongside well-known French classics by É. Piaf, C. Lellouche, B. Pravi, and others.
The book Cvit samoće, published by the Artistic Organization Soba2 and FNI Media, will be released on March 5, 2025. This project is part of a larger tour, in collaboration with the French Alliances, visiting Rijeka (March 7, Circolo, free entry), Zagreb (March 13, Komedija Theater Club), and Split (March 21, City Puppet Theater) as part of Francophonie Month. In Dubrovnik, Le Petit Festival will host the event on June 8, while in the fall, it will be presented at the Osijek Cultural Center and the French Alliance of Osijek.
The project is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia, the cities of Zagreb, Split, and Makarska, Le Petit Festival in Dubrovnik, and the Osijek Cultural Center.
